Programs for Adults and College Students

Our Spanish programs help adults and college students develop practical communication skills in a supportive and personalized learning environment. Lessons are adapted to each student’s current ability, learning style, personal goals, and schedule.

Whether you are learning Spanish for travel, work, college, cultural connections, or personal enrichment, Sara will help you build confidence and make meaningful progress.

Level 1: Beginner Spanish

This level is designed for students with little or no previous Spanish experience. Students learn greetings, introductions, numbers, common vocabulary, pronunciation, and useful expressions for everyday situations. The focus is on building a strong foundation and feeling comfortable speaking Spanish.

Level 2: Elementary Spanish

Students expand their vocabulary and learn to communicate using complete sentences. Lessons include common conversations, listening activities, reading practice, basic grammar, and practical Spanish for travel, work, school, and everyday life.

Level 3: Intermediate Spanish

This level is for students who already understand basic Spanish and want to speak more naturally and confidently. Students develop stronger speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while improving grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension.

Level 4: Advanced Spanish

Advanced students work toward greater fluency, accuracy, and confidence. Lessons may include in-depth conversations, advanced grammar, reading and discussing authentic materials, professional vocabulary, cultural topics, and refined pronunciation.

Spanish Support for College Students

College students can receive personalized support to strengthen the skills required for their Spanish courses. Lessons may include grammar explanations, conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, writing guidance, and preparation for quizzes or exams.

The goal is to help students understand their coursework, develop independent language skills, and feel more confident participating in class.

Spanish for Travel and Conversation

Students preparing for travel or wanting to improve their conversational Spanish can focus on practical situations such as introductions, transportation, restaurants, hotels, shopping, directions, emergencies, and cultural etiquette.

Spanish for Professionals

Lessons can be personalized for professionals who need Spanish in the workplace. Students develop practical vocabulary and communication skills related to their occupation, customers, coworkers, and professional goals.

Personalized Placement

Each student begins at a different level. Placement is based on previous Spanish experience, current ability, learning goals, and confidence. Sara will help determine the most appropriate starting level and create a personalized learning plan.
